From PNG image
PNG is the best raster format to digitize from: edges stay sharp, colors stay flat and transparent backgrounds come through intact.
From JPG (JPEG) image
JPG files work well once their compression noise is cleaned up. The digitizer smooths JPEG artifacts and blurry edges before it picks thread colors.
From SVG vector
SVG vectors give the crispest results: the digitizer renders them at high resolution in your browser, so curves and lettering stay smooth at any size.
